I have to go to the dentist today for a cleaning. They always find a cavity. I brush and floss. My teeth are just falling out of my head anyway. Well, I actually still have all of them. But last year I had to have a very painful root canal and a crown to do so. I almost told them to pull the damn thing out. It was expensive, it hurt, I had to go to the ER one night because my face hurt so bad that I couldn't function (infection), and the dentist broke a tip off a tool that he couldn't get out. It is now permanently burried in my tooth canal.
In other good news, I got a new dog!! I have one dog already who is the sweetest cutest little mutt ever. But I wanted him to have a friend. SOOOO, I went to the vet's office to buy a harness for Scooby and noticed a bulletin board of dogs for adoption. I asked to look at them and there was one I fell in love with. He is a large part Jack Russell Terrier and as cute as he could be. He was also very skittish. But I visited him everyday until I could bring him home (after he got nuetered) and he came out of his shell. Last night was our first night home with him and he did great. The dogs stay outside during the day and sleep in kennels at night inside. He didn't whine at all until this morning when he was ready to go to the bathroom. And Scooby growled at him a little bit at first but they seem to be getting along ok now. His name is Jack by the way. My daughter named him. My son named Scooby so it was her turn. I'm just glad she didn't want to name him Incredible Hulk.
So that is all the excitement in my life right now. Well, there is actually another exciting thing on the horizon but I can't talk about that yet.
