ME!! My birthday is Friday and we are in Ruidoso, NM. B has a trade show here every summer so we all come and get to say in a really nice hotel that his company pays for. And this year it happens to fall on my birthday. I will be 36 which is a little depressing. I will officially be in my LATE 30's. YUCK!
It is beautiful up here. For those of you not familiar with the layout of New Mexico, I live in the extreme eastern side, which is dry and brown and flat! Ick! Ruidoso is in the mountains and it is not as hot and there are tons of cute little touristy shops. Tonight though, we waited too late to go to dinner and even TACO BELL for the love of God!!!! closes at 9pm. WTF??? So, ended up ordering Pizza Hut. I am not supposed to eat pizza but desperate times call for desperate measures. I'll only eat a little.

Hi Stella, I found your blog through The Quilting Pirate, Toni. My husband had the gastric bypass surgery a year ago 6/4/07. He has lost over 100 pounds. It has taken awhile but he is finially doing very well. Don't forget to drink water and take little snack things with you when you leave the house. He got such acid when he forgot to eat on time, that was the worst part for him. Good luck with a speedy recovery. Cheryl
